July 28, 2022, I completed the Corporate Learning Professional certificateprogram at Georgia State University. To the right, is my electronic portfolio showcasing how I have applied the frameworks, models, and theories that I learned in the Analysis of Performance & Instructional Systems (LT 7150). Also, I enjoyed the LT 7150 course because it helped me reflect on my experience as a training performance improvement analyst for a state hospital system specializing in adult mental health and forensic services. As a training performance improvement analyst, I was responsible for decreasing staff and patient incidents involving the use of physical restraints. I found the role challenging, and the LT 7150 course helped me to reflect on how I aligned interventions with organizational business goals: I managed the implementation of a non-physical de-escalation program to decrease physical restraint incidents between the staff and the individuals we served in the hospitals.
Thanks for taking the time to read about my learning and professional journey. For each product of my learning and skills, I have attempted to add a reflection on how the assignment aligns with the responsibilities in my previous roles.
